Self Growth

Surround yourself with people who are the future you, see where your paths lead and learn from your mistakes. Life is about living and learning not living and dwelling on the past. The pure definition of life is the process of moving forward and growth.

I've learned a few things these past two years I think we all need to hear sometimes, including myself.

Pushing ourselves to do a million and one things is not the way, having a certain mindset and how we look at things, determines a lot of our motivation and direction in life. Moving up the ladder for a job that makes you unhappy, just for that extra dollar, I've been there.

I started to look at what my co-workers were doing. Most were tired finishing there college classes and working a part time job. But their end goals were happiness, because they were striving for something that's gonna keep them happy for a long time, not short term.

Keep in mind though that everyone's happiness comes from something different, this focuses on YOUR happiness.

What's something that makes you happy every time you think of it?

At least one of those answers should be your job, something you have to do for the majority of your life.

The end goal should to be living a fulfilling life, not of events, but of actual life. It should be fulfilling to go to work everyday, to have time to spend with family, and to just have those laid back weekends.

This is not to say you cant enjoy a night out with friends or a quick road trip to a cute town. These should just be the cherry on top of your life.

Trying to do everything you possible can in your life is gonna tire you out really quick. Take it a day, a week, or even a year at a time. You can still plan out your life and have adventures, just make sure the end goal is the same, happiness.

" Happiness comes from within and is found in the present moment by making peace with the past and looking forward to the future".

I hope you start your journey to a more fulfilling and prosperous life.

Love,
